What you said – results of our 2008 online survey
Many thanks to those who completed our recent online survey. Our respondents included people in colleges, training providers and government agencies, at a range of levels in their organisations –18 per cent of the responses were from BME individuals.
We were keen to find out which WLN activities were of greatest importance to women in the sector. Of particular interest were the following (favoured by over 60 per cent of the respondents):
- Attending regional networking events and workshops
- Attending the annual conference
- Reading case studies
- Visiting the website
- Being mentored
- Receiving regular newsletters
The majority views expressed in the survey reflected the findings of the substantial research carried out for CEL and WLN, published in March 2007 and summarised in the next item. | |
